Cube World Landscape Screenshots

Over the last few days I've been improving the landscape generator and rendering engine and I made a few screenshots. There are also some screenshots of the 3D world map, which is automatically recorded while you explore the world. It's basically a big version of the minimap.

rusty_TOAST_ I completely agree about the resources and wood by doing that you can make the game have a longer life among gamer's and of course the game would be more balanced. But wait about the crafting and unlocking voxels, I am pretty sure he mentioned that when you level up or get better that so would most of your enemies. Which in turn means that you would always have a challenge fighting so doing this would not be that useful but i guess they could help...
Other than that i really hope he reads your comment and considers these changes. :D

when you first start the game what would your character start with and i do know there is different classes and i know i am asking for a lot of things here but what would each character receive depending upon his/her character class. :D

I have a suggestion for the game but I do not know if you would like it. I think there could be like a volcano biome and lava with some lava monsters and stuff, but I don't know. Just thought it would be fun

hes saving up for the final minute and BOOM! cube world is for sale and all the people who have been waiting are gonna be like Shit yeah!!! immma get me that :D

Check out the video here: http://wollay.blogspot.com/2012/09/new-cube-world-video.html it has a volcano and lava at the very end. There aren't any lava monsters that I can think of, but something similar would make sense to put them in a volcano.

I'm really excited about the Game coming out but why don't you release it it's Perfect I bet about 1.000.000 would buy it instantly that would give you enough money to Add more Features to the game

By the way i'm going to make your game popular in Germany too
and make Let's Plays so a lot of people can play the best Game in the Universe

the smaller voxel size makes everything look more textured and realistic than other voxel games like good ol minecraft. so prettyful :)

really.... just really... coding is a VERY long process... and involves much more than just type and done there is so much that has to be learned, and then you have the libraries and such..... its just a long process, that might get boring if he does regular posts.

yah i just don't want a game that has so much potential to reach such an easy dead end buy setting a "best" material to use. That kills the skillz if you know what I'm saying. creativity should be what determines the badassery of your sword, not whether the material you used was good or not!

A continuation of the previous suggestions...
cubeworld (as I hear it has come to b called) has many aspects that will make it a replayable game. One of the main aspects that I see coming to life in cubeworld community is the ability to custom craft your own sword. But now spells have been introduced, and this brings in a whole new fanbase. But as of now the spells do not hold the same custom aspects as swords, shields ect. I would highly recommend that you include a system where you can customize the look and effect of the spells that can be cast. I also suggest giving all classes to use lower-end spells, such as a light heal, to broaden the options you have when creating your character. Of coarse, a mage should have a much higher voxel limit when creating their spells as that is what they centralize on.
