New Combat System

Here is a first preview of the new combat system. It works as follows:

- You build up combo points by subsequently hitting an enemy.
- If you are hit or wait too long, all combo points are reset.
- The more combo points you have built up, the more damage you will make.
- Sometimes you hit the enemy critically with double damage.
- You can dodge attacks by rolling.
- Different attacks will be added in the future.

I just want to say:

- I have a lot of expectations on this game, keep with the great job. =D

- You should make the character walk slower or create a different animation of it running because sometimes it seems really strange moving so fast but with the animation going slower.

That would be awesome, also maybe have magic in this game :D

I've just found about this game and I think it looks very promising. Also it would be cool to perhaps have different kind of weapons you could choose. For instance daggers that will deal less damage but will be quicker, so it'll easier to build high combo using them. Or mace that will be slower and will raise combo damage slower but it'll have increasing chance of stunning enemy as you build up a combo. Anyway, love the game so far.

I had exactly the same idea with the daggers, I will definitely add this to the game. I also like the idea with the mace and the increasing stunning chance. I will also add shields that will allow you to block attacks. And magic, too. :D

Climbing up walls seems like it would make exploration too easy, expecially when the player has just started. Perhaps it could be enabled by purchasing or being rewarded a certain item or power up?

I plan to add a climbing skill that the player can improve during the game. The higher the skill level, the longer you can climb. If you climb for too long, you will fall down. ^^

And there will also be different wall types which require a certain climbing skill, like wood walls are easy to climb, sandstone is a little harder and ice is very hard to to climb.

Maybe I'll also add certain items like boots which increase your climbing skill.

i know you this is your game but just a suggestion...add parrying maybe? also the dodging and movement seems...odd. but good work so far. 
animation/combat movement also seems a bit dull so far. maybe you'll add in more moves, finishes...?
